Is Jesus God? Where does he say He’s God?

John 10
30 I and My Father are one.” – (Jesus – Christ)

Al-Hadid 57:3

He is the First and the Last, the Most High and Most Near, and He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.

Revelation 1
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”…17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. -( Jesus – Christ)

Exodus 3
And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”…13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”
14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘
I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

John 8
54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is [o]your God. 55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

How can a Man be God?
When Jesus prayed did he pray to himself?

First, let’s answer – What is God?

  • Eternal – The Great “I AM” -Exodus CH3 (Self-Existing Being outside our known dimensions)
  • All powerful (Omnipotence)
  • All knowing(Omniscience)
  • All present (Omnipresence)
  • The Creator of time, space, matter, the universe, life
    and man

Who is God?
Genesis 1:1In the beginning God(‘ĕlōhîm) created the heaven and the earth.

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

ĕlôha- Singular / one

  1. God
  2. false god

‘ĕlōhîm – Plural

  1. rulers, judges
    1. divine ones
    1. angels
    1. gods
  1. (plural intensive – singular meaning)
  1. gods, goddess
    1. godlike one
    1. works or special possessions of God
    1. the (true/Supreme) God
    1. God

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [g]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

When Jesus prayed, did he pray to himself?
Now when Jesus prayed, He prayed to the Father, who is a different person in the Godhead.
It is the same when God the Father speaks, praises and prays to His Son, God the Father does not speak to himself.

The verses below in Matthew, Isaiah and Hebrews shows all three persons of the Godhead.

Godhead/Tri-Unity(Trinity)/Elohim(Hebrew plural word for God)

Only One God(What He is), One Being  in three distinct Persons (Who God is) revealed in the Holy Bible

God the Father
God the Son(Jesus Christ)
God the Holy Spirit

Another example is parts of Man – your Body is (what) you are, your soul and your spirit is (who you are). 3 distinct personas.

Matthew 3 : 16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

(New Testament)

Isaiah 48:16 “Come near to Me, hear this:
I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord God and His Spirit
Have sent Me.”
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.
(Old Testament)

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

1 John 5 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.

Hebrews 1
(The Father)But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
[f]scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
10 And:“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

Old Testament verses:

Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

Proverbs 30:4
Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!.

2 Samuel 7
13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son

Daniel 3
24
Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”
They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”
25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

Genesis 18
Then the Lord appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant. Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant.”They said, “Do as you have said.”So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, “Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes.”… 16 Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way. 17 And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, 18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” 20 And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, 21 I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”22 Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. 23 And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? 25 Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”26 So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”…
CH19 (The Lord on Earth rains fire from the Lord)
24Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens.

Is God’s name Allah?

Chapter 6 The cattle سورة الأنعام – Al-Anaam: Verse 85

وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَإِلْيَاسَ ۖ كُلٌّ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous:

  • Iēsoûs/ Jesus/  عِيسَىٰ / Jehoshua

Jesus = “Yahweh / Jehovah is salvation”
Ἰησοῦς Iēsoûs, ee-ay-sooce’; of Hebrew origin; Jesus (i.e. Jehoshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ),

Jesus, the Son of God, the Saviour of mankind, God incarnate
Christ = “anointed”
Christ was [and is]1 the Messiah, the Son of God anointed

Immanuel = “God with us” or “with us is God”
symbolic and prophetic name of the Messiah, the Christ, prophesying that He would be born of a virgin and would be ‘God with us’

  • יהוה  i.e. יַהְוֶה proper name, of deity Yahweh (YHWH), the proper name of the God of Israel

יְהֹוָה Yᵉhôvâh, yeh-ho-vaw’; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jeho-vah, name of God:—Jehovah, the Lord.

  1. Jehovah = “the existing One”
    1. the proper name of the one true God

The pronunciation Jehovah was unknown until 1520, when it was introduced by Galatinus;

  • Elijah/ ‘ēlîyâ / אֵלִיָּה  /Ilyas /Eliyahu/ إِلْيَاسَ

Elijah or Eliah = “my God is Jehovah” or “Yah(u) (Yahweh) is God”

Eli (My God) yah(u)(is Yahweh)

  1. the great prophet of the reign of Ahab

  • Zakariya / Zechariah / zᵊḵaryâ / زَكَرِيَّا

John = “ Yahweh / Jehovah is a gracious giver”

Muhammad and his companions have gotten God’s name wrong; they have not done their research and not read any of the Torah that they claim to hold.
This happened because Jews hold the name of God sacred; they would not say God’s proper name. They refer to God usually by his title and not his name.

Hebrew – ĕlôha / ‘ĕlōhîm
Aramaic – Elah, Elaha
Arabic – El-llah, Allah

Which elohe word is usually is used in context of a false god in the old testament.
But this had Muhammad confused in the 7th century and used the title Elohim or Elaha or Elah as the name of God instead of God’s proper name YHWH.

Now when Allah Prayed who did Allah Pray to?

Al-ahzab 33:43

He and His angels pray for you—so that He may bring you out of darkness and into light. For He is ever Merciful to the believers.

Al-ahzab 33:56

Indeed, Allah upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O  believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace.

This makes no sense in an Islamic theological context where in Islam there’s is only one God and does not reveal himself as any other person or being and cannot be known.

Jesus praying to the Father makes perfect sense in the context of the Godhead/Trinity as God can reveal himself in different persons such as the Angel of the Lord in the burning bush to Moses, the man who was Commander of the Army of the Lord in Joshua 5:13, Daniel Ch3, The Messiah, the Son of God – Jesus etc

Did Allah write the Quran? Is the Quran the word of God? How does the Bible Compare to the Quran?

The Quran contradicts the Old and New Testament(Holy Bible).
The Quran says Jesus never died, and the New Testament says Jesus died, was buried and resurrected.
The Quran says Islam is the way to heaven.
The Holy Bible and the Lord Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
Both cannot be right. What was written is closer to the event? How many sources are there for the claim?

How did the Quran form according to the Standard Islamic Narrative(SIN)? Supposedly the Quran was handed down to Muhammad by an angel, written in 20+ years in 610 AD but in actuality there were 7 Ahruf/Qurans.

Who wrote the biography of “prophet” Mohammad? Does Mohammad have any eye witnesses in his time?

Short answer No, biographies of Muhammad were all written after 8th to 10 Century, No authors of Islamic texts actually saw Muhammad historically around the 6th-7th century, according to the standard Islamic narrative.

Were these writers even in the same place as Muhammad? No

The Islamic traditions say everything happened in Mecca and Medina (in the Hejaz)

Yet, all of the writers of the Traditions worked in Baghdad, which is 1,200 miles too far north.

Ibn Hisham (The Sira) is from Basra but grew up in Cairo.
Cairo is 990 miles from Mecca.
Basra is 1200 miles from Mecca.

Al Bukhari (The Hadith) is from Bukhara.
Bukhara is 2600 miles from Mecca.

So these writers of Muhammad’s life were not even located where Muhammad claims to have lived. Islam has a problem with distance, direction, and location.

It is highly likely that Muhammad did not historically exist as a person due to a lack of historical eye witness accounts and records.

Regardless if Muhammad historically existed or not; Muhammad is not a reliable source for historical information about the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. He is not an eye witness of Jesus neither that he lived in the time of Jesus, his existence supposed had been 6th century, which is too late and his nor was he even located at Jerusalem, He lived in Mecca. In other words the Islamic account of Jesus of Nazareth is most likely fabricated. See: Dr. Jay Smith – The Truth About Islam’s Origins YOUTUBE/Google

Now how does the Holy Bible compare?

The Holy Bible is not a book written by just 1 author, but the Holy Bible is written by many authors that spans more than a millennia (1000+ years), it’s a library, a collection of writings that is believed to be inspired by the word of God, and this is called the Inspired Cannon.
2 Timothy 3:16:All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The Torah is believed to be written by an actual prophet – Moses, from more than 3000 years ago, around 1600BC. This concept of an inspired canon began with Moses, the collection of 5 Books of the Torah written by Moses (Pentateuch), all the way to the poetry and historical writings (Ketuvim) and the books of the Prophets (Neviim).

Jesus attributes the Torah to Moses
Matt8:4 19:7,23:2
Mark 1:44,10:3,7:10
Luke 5:14,16:19,20:37,24:27
John 3:14 5:39 6:32 7:19

Old Testament – Tanakh has historically dated texts

-Original Hebrew(Vorlage)
-Septuagint: Dated around 285-270BC Translation of the Vorlage to Greek by 72 scholars in Alexandria
-Masoretic Text: Derived from Council of Jamnia in 90AD,  Codex Cairernsis manuscripts dated around 895AD
-Dead Sea Scrolls : 300BC-70AD

The New Testament is Greek and not Hebrew, Did Jesus speak Greek?

Yes Mark 7:24-30
Jesus spoke Greek , Hebrew and Aramaic

Greek was the lingua franca or the common language at this time; this is why the Old Testament was translated into Greek in 300-200BC and New Testament writings are written in Greek

The New Testament also has historically dated texts and authors.

Secular who are non-religious or critical scholars also give credit to Apostle Paul (Saul of Tarsus) who has seen Jesus after the resurrection, Critical scholars attributed to him undisputed dated letters in the New Testament around 40 -60AD

First Epistle to the Thessalonians
Epistle to the Galatians
First Epistle to the Corinthians
Second Epistle to the Corinthians
Epistle to the Philippians
Epistle to Philemon
Epistle to the Romans

Google “Do critical scholars think apostle Paul wrote the letters”en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authorship_of_the_Pauline_epistles
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_the_Apostle

Gospels were written by Jesus disciples and close contacts.

Gospel of Matthew was written by the disciple of Jesus who was a tax collector. Gospel of Mark was written by John Mark, a companion of Paul and Peter. Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles were written by Luke the doctor.

Acts 12:12 So, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying

Colossians 4:14 Luke the beloved physician and Demas greet you.

2 Timothy 4:11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.

Matthew: 10 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Cananite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.

  • Magdalen Papyri/ Jesus Papyri

This is backed up by the P.Magdalen Greek 17/P64 (The Jesus Papyri) A segment of Greek text of Matthew’s Gospel appears to be dated before 66AD Three fragments of text on both sides,a total of 24 lines, segment of Matthew 26:23,31 . This manuscript also matches the Greek Textus Receptus and Majority Text for translations such as KJV, and not the Critical Text (the Nestles/United / Westcott and Hort) that modern translations use. This appears to be the oldest known manuscript. Dr. Carsten Thiede scanned using laser microscope and comparing with other manuscripts, at Qumran (dated 58AD), at Herculaneum (before 79AD), at Masada (dated 73-74) At Egyptian town of Oxyrynchus (65-66 AD). Dr Thiede concluded that this is either an original copy of Matthew’s Gospel or an immediate copy.

The Muratorian Canon, often referred to as the MuratorianFragment, represents the earliest known compilation of New Testament writings. This ancient document, likely composed in Greek, is believed to have been written between AD 170 and 200. It enumerates 22 of the 27 texts including the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke + Acts and John that would eventually be recognized as part of the New Testament in the Holy Bible. The identity of the original author of the fragment remains unidentified. The list’s text is conventionally attributed to the latter part of the second century, as it mentions Pius I, who served as bishop of Rome from 140 to 155AD, indicating that he was regarded as a contemporary figure.

Prophecies in the Bible are already fulfilled or yet to be fulfilled, but they actually happen.

Mark 13 Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”

2 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

Matthew 24 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

This was fulfilled when Jerusalem and the Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70AD. If you go to the Temple Mount today in 2024 all the stones are scattered near Dome of the Rock.

There are 300+ Prophecies of the 1st coming of the Messiah.

The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet; I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. They divide My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.

The life of Jesus – Isaiah 53 (Prophet Isaiah~700-500BC)
Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. 9 And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. 11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.

Prophecy Fulfilled in Matthew 27:35, Mark 15:24, Luke 23:34, John 19:24 Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus found in these 4 chapters and resurrection is found in Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, John 20 written around (30 -100 AD)

1 Corinthians 15 (Paul – Year 30-50AD)
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

Non Biblical sources – Roman Historians
Annals (Cornelius Tacitus Year 14-68 AD )
“Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus,”

THE ANTIQUITIES OF THE JEWS (Flavius Josephus Year ~37AD – 100 AD) , See Book 18 CH3
Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was the Christ. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day; as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.|

We have Prophets in the Old Testament prophesying the Life, Death and Resurrection of the Messiah Psalms Ch22,16:v10,34:v20,49:v15,69:v21,110,Isaiah 53,Isaiah 7:14, 9:6,7,Micah 5:2 ,Zechariah 9:9,11:v12-13,12:v10,13:v7-9.We have eye witnesses in the 4 Gospels and non Biblical Roman historians writing about the Death and Resurrection of Jesus. There are Roman Historians that recorded this event in the same century of the Death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus but 600 years later, Muhammad said God lied and made it appear to look like this happened. Is God a liar? – NO! The true God is Holy, Perfect and Righteous

The Quran contradicts historical writings and the New Testament(Holy Bible):
Surah An-Nisa 4:157 (Muhammad – Year 610-632 AD)
and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him—it was only made to appear so.1 Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever—only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him.

Surah An-Nisa 4:158
Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.

The Quran Contradicting itself in the creation of the heavens and earth:
Surah 2:29 & Surah 41:9-12 say Allah created the Earth AND THEN the Heavens (afterwards). Surah 79:27-33 says Allah created the heavens FIRST, and AFTERWARDS created the Earth.

2:29 He is the One Who created everything in the earth for you. Then He turned towards the heaven, :forming it into seven heavens. And He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.
41:9 – 12 Ask ˹them, O  Prophet˺, “How can you disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two Days? And how can you set up equals with Him? That is the Lord of all worlds. He placed on the earth firm mountains, standing high, showered His blessings upon it, and ordained ˹all˺ its means of sustenance—totaling four Days exactly1—for all who ask.
Then He turned towards the heaven when it was ˹still like˺ smoke, saying to it and to the earth, ‘Submit, willingly or unwillingly.’ They both responded, ‘We submit willingly.’
So He formed the heaven into seven heavens in two Days, assigning to each its mandate. And We adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps ˹for beauty˺ and for protection. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing.”

Surah 79:27-33
Which is harder to create: you or the sky? He built it,
raising it high and forming it flawlessly.
He dimmed its night, and brought forth its daylight.
As for the earth, He spread it out as well,
bringing forth its water and pastures
and setting the mountains firmly ˹upon it˺—
all as ˹a means of˺ sustenance for you and your animals.

  • Surah 18:86 Is the sun is found to be setting in mud? Obviously scientifically false.

Is Islam a religion of peace?

Sahih Muslim 1767a
Book 32, Hadith 75

I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim

Surah Al-Anfal 8:12 Remember, O  Prophet, when your Lord revealed to the angels, “I am with you. So make the believers stand firm. I will cast horror into the hearts of the disbelievers. So strike their necks and strike their fingertips.”

Surah At-Tawbah 9:5 When the [four] forbidden months are over, wherever you encounter the idolaters, kill them, seize them, besiege them, wait for them at every lookout post; but if they turn [to Allah], maintain the prayer, and pay the prescribed alms, let them go on their way, for Allah is most forgiving and merciful.

  • The Origins of the Quran

Muhammad had not just one Quran but 7 Ahruf which will be discussed later in the Is the Quran preserved topic, Then the 3rd Caliph  Uthman started to collect all the 6 Ahruf /Qurans and burned them because people were waging war due to the differences in their Qurans.

Sahih Bukhari 4987
Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to `Uthman at the time when the people of Sham and the people of Iraq were Waging war to conquer Arminya and Adharbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Sham and Iraq) differences in the recitation of the Qur’an, so he said to `Uthman, “O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Qur’an) as Jews and the Christians did before.” So `Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, “Send us the manuscripts of the Qur’an so that we may compile the Qur’anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you.” Hafsa sent it to `Uthman. `Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, `Abdullah bin AzZubair, Sa`id bin Al-As and `AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. `Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, “In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur’an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur’an was revealed in their tongue.” They did so, and when they had written many copies, `Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. `Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur’anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt.

According to Fathul Bari of Ibn Hajar ‘Asqalani vol. 4, p. 226, Uthman sent back the Qur’an of Hafsah but Marwan snatched it forcibly from her and burnt it.12 Uthman got all the copies of the Qur’an burnt except his own and got Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud beaten so much that he developed the disease of hernia. Then he sent him to prison where he died.

According to Tuhfah Ithna ‘ Ashariyah of Abdul Aziz, Ubayy Ibn Ka’b gave his Qur’an to Uthman, and he escaped beating. That Qur’an was also burnt.13

Another example of Uthman’s cruelty was his beating of Ammar Ibn Yasir.

Has the Bible been corrupted?

Nowhere in the Quran does it say that the Bible(Toah or the Injeel/Gospel) has been corrupted in fact the Quran says it’s the opposite.

The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing. سُوْرَۃُ الْاٴنْعَام Al-An’am  6:115

But many Muslims claim that the Bible is corrupted without providing any evidence or showing where is the uncorrupted versions of the Torah or the Injeel(Gospel).

Another argument is that Muslims usually point out a contradiction in some of the English translations regarding How could Ahaziah be both 22 years old and 42 years old when he started to reign?

Its possible that the Bible contains minor copyist errors, but if you look at the some of the ancient sources such as the Septuagint translated in 300-250BC, It can be understood that 2 Chronicles 22:2 42 years in the Masoretic is not in the original Hebrew as the Septuagint shows 20 years old.

2 Ochozias began to reign when he was twenty years old, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Gotholia, the daughter of Ambri.

It’s possible that bad actors may try to corrupt translations of the Holy Bible such as Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons who even added new sacred text such as the Book of Mormon, like Islam claim that this was given by an angel. Or the progressive Churches who try to accept the LGBT agenda with new translations like the NRSVUE( New revised standard version updated edition) which removed Homosexuality as sin from the list from 1 Corinthians 6:9 etc. Men who corrupt the Holy Bible will certainly have to answer to God one day and will be cursed.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;

Revelation 22:19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words,
Like silver tried in a furnace of earth,
Purified seven times.
7 You shall keep them, O Lord,
You shall preserve them from this generation forever.

The main message of the Gospel did not change throughout the ages and translations, the message that God loves us that he sent his only Son born of a virgin to sacrificially die for the sins of the world and rose again to save mankind.
John 3:16 and the New Testament.(~30+AD), Isaiah 7:14 , 9:6 , CH53 (~600 BC) , Psalm 22 (~1000BC) etc

The Bible is also a historically and Scientifically Accurate source.

Is there only 1 Quran? Can you say the same about the Quran is the Quran perfectly preserved?

Quran has more than 30 recitations (Qirats) with different meanings.

Hafs Version is the accepted Majority and was standardised in 1924. Reading this version in some places in North Africa can get you in trouble, which only accepts Warsh recitation.

WIKIPEDIA: The Cairo edition (Arabic: المصحف الأميري, “the Amiri Mus’haf”), or the King Fu’ād Quran (مصحف الملك فؤاد) or the Azhar Quran, is an edition of the Quran printed by the Amiri Press in the Bulaq district of Cairo on July 10, 1924.It is the first printed Quran to be accepted by a Muslim authority, this authority being Al-Azhar.

It’s a lie to say Quran has been preserved. Muhammad wasn’t given 1 Quran but 7 before the Qirats originally had 7 modes or Ahrufs (Hadith Sahih Muslim 819). Different Ahrufs lead to wars and conflict between different tribes with different Ahrufs of the Quran.

So Uthman ordered the 6 Ahrufs / Qurans were burnt and now there is only 1 Quran in a Quraish dialect.(Sahih Bukhari 4987) This was order was not by Muhammad but by Uthman the 3rd Rashidun Caliph 20+ years after Muhammad.

Muhammad was supposedly illiterate, the master reciters of the Quran were his companions such as Abdullah bin Masud and Ubai bin Ka’b. Masud had 111 chapters and Ka’b 116.

Ubai bin Ka’b. Masud did not want to surrender his version of the Quran and was beaten when Uthman was collecting all the Quran which was burned with the other 6 Qurans.
